At Wellements, the safety and health of our customers and their families is our first priority. It has recently been brought to our attention that the supplier of the ingredient galacto-oligosaccharide which is used in our Baby Move™ product has issued a voluntary recall of this item due to a possible Salmonella contamination. We have conducted extensive testing on our remaining raw material, controlled retention samples of past finished goods and current finished goods inventory. All tests results have been negative for Salmonella contamination, and to date there have been no reports of illness due to the use of our Baby Move product.
Regardless of the above circumstances, it is consistent with the fabric of Wellements’ culture and policy to always take every precaution necessary to ensure the safety of our consumers. For this reason, we have instituted a voluntary recall of all Baby Move product up to and including lot number 12179.
Any customer who wishes to return or exchange their bottle of Baby Move may return it for a full refund to either the retail location at which it was purchased or directly to Wellements.
We have already begun the process of sourcing a new supplier for this specific prebiotic ingredient, and are committed to getting safe product back on the shelves for our customers.
It is our sincere promise to continue to operate with the utmost level of integrity and quality in the effort to maintain and build trust with our customers.
